What are greets?
Greets are walks with guests of our city, in a relaxed, personal atmosphere.
- Are they really free? Yes, we volunteer as greeters and receive neither a salary nor tips. We do this out of love for our city and want to show that to our guests. (Of course, we would be happy to receive a small donation to support the club).
- Does a walk always take 2-3 hours? Generally, yes, but of course this can be adapted individually for each greet and depending on the situation.
- Why do we only welcome maximum six peopleBecause we want you to feel comfortable with us quickly. Therefore, you'll only go on our walks with the people you're traveling with. But even if you're traveling alone, you can request a greet! We welcome every guest!
- What means
"individual support"The principle of greets is personal interaction. An exchange quickly develops between the greeter and their guests. A conversation starts. The walks develop from the interaction between guests and greeters. Therefore, everything that happens during a greet is the responsibility of the participants.
Our city - our guests
- Greets are highly personalized, individual walks that depend heavily on the personality of the greeter and the wishes of their guests. Each greeter accompanies you on your walk with their own experiences and shows you Nuremberg from their own perspective.
- We don't have a fixed program and won't overfeed you with dates and historical events, but rather place value on personal stories and impressions.
- We want to complement Nuremberg's tourist offerings. A greet is not a substitute for one of the many professional city tours that we warmly recommend (Nuremberg tourism offer). Our walks are also very suitable for those who have already taken a city tour.
- You can always discover something new..
